Our journey to Net-Zero with Carbon Capture

Pressplus Limited has helped raise over £1.57m to date for the Woodland Trust, planting more than 420,000 trees and capturing over 96,000 tonnes of CO².

This is made possible through the Carbon Capture® programme and the Trust’s Woodland Carbon scheme.

100% of the funds raised through the programme is passed directly to the Trust to fund woodland conservation and the planting of trees, which can absorb carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.

The Carbon Capture® programme gives companies and their clients the opportunity to mitigate carbon and demonstrate their sustainable development goals.

Plant more trees!

Pressplus Limited supports the Trust’s mission to plant 50 million trees across the UK by 2030.

Woodland cover 13.2% of the UK’s land surface. Just 7% of Britain’s native woodlands are currently deemed in good ecological condition.

Climate change means spring is now happening on average 8.4 days earlier. This is catastrophic for species such as blue tits, who’s chicks hatch later than the caterpillars they feed on.

Although woodland cover is gradually increasing, woodland wildlife is decreasing:

  • Woodland birds declined by 29% since 1970
  • Woodland butterflies declined by 41%
  • Woodland plants declined by 18% since 2015.
